The five times winners will look to continue their winning streak this weekend when the face fierce rivals University of Rochester and RIT at the conference play. Even though they lost their opening game to Utica, the Golden Knights are heads up that they are going to win.
With a mark of 5-1 the Golden Knights look forward to continuing their impeccable performance of five unbeaten games. At the moment RIT are 2-4 and the University of Rochester pride at 4-3 which is game above five hundred. Previously in 2014, the University of Clarkson won over the University of Rochester with a 9-4 score but has over the season maintained a 2-5 against RIT. Even so, it has been an uphill task for Tigers against the Golden Knights wining only twice in a total of 27 meetings.
The Golden Knight boast of prolific players like Christine Wright who so far is at the top of the Liberty league tables having scored 19 goals and recoded 14 assists. All this have earned her 33 points in the table ranking 4th overall. The team is completed with a midfielder Taylor Collins who has scored 11 goals and 11 ground balls, while the defense is led by Emma Jeffrey and Dani Tani who was crowed the Liberty league defender of the week.
Rochester’s attack is lead by three key players Sage Sarkis, Emily Liveuchi and Corring Mandell who have a total of 41 combined goals this year. Although the tough competition in the conference, the Golden Knights hope to shine against their opponents and continue with their winning ways.
